Learning objectives

The students become familiar with machine components and assemblies modeling and drawing process, basics of parametric 3D design tool, parts sustainability, manufacturability and cost evaluation methods, configurations and modular assembly management. The students are able to draw welding assemblies and drawings, as well as model sheet metal parts and make manufacturing and unfolded drawings of sheet metal parts. The students will also know how to use product data management system.
