Learning objectives
After completing this course the student is able to:
- understand the mechatronics as a discipline and technical solution to solve problems
- identify the role of mechanics, and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and digital parts of a machine
- understand the language and documentation of all disciplines involved in mechatronics
- produce documentation bridging the gaps between different disciplines in mechatronics
- communicate with all design parties involved in designing a mechatronic system

- introduction to theoretical and applied mechatronics
- design and operation of mechatronics systems
- special considerations of working with inter-disciplinary systems
- documentation of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and digital systems
- communication inside and between multi-disciplinary teams
