Learning objectives
After completing the course, student
- describes the key areas in the core competences of a physiotherapist and evaluate their own professional competences and development during their studies
- evaluates the methods and practices used in their field based on evidence-based information - describes service structures used in their field and evaluate the importance of management, self-management and work community skills for professional growth and become aware of the importance of career planning skills as a future professional.
- deploy various methods of physiotherapy in practical client situations based on research, evaluation and observations
- Knows the principles of multiprofessional working in the rehabilitation process
- is able to take responsibility for her own actions and their consequences and to reflect on them in accordance with the professional ethical principles and values of his/her field
-knows how to apply the principles of sustainable development in the management of physiotherapy.
During their clinical training (8,5 ECTS), students will
- act in client situations in accordance with the ethical principles of physiotherapy
-knows how to work in multiprofessional cooperation
- draw conclusions regarding a client’s examination information and make a physiotherapy diagnosis
- draw up concrete and measurable physiotherapy goals and select appropriate physiotherapy methods
- implement physiotherapy methods in different individual and group situations and operating environments taking into account sustainable development
- draw on the feedback they receive and carry out self-assessment
Ergonomics
- guide patients in a versatile manner, considering the patient's functional capacities and resources, as well as their personal ergonomics and body control
