After completing the course, the student is able to
- analyze both internal and external business environment
- observe the selection process of the target country and gain information on the external factors influencing market selection
- obtain knowledge and experience of business environment analysis tools (e.g. PESTEL analysis, SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, Competitor analysis)
- gain information about global networking and partner search.

Overall, the objective of a business environment course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the business environment and equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to become effective managers and leaders in a dynamic and constantly changing business world.
After completing the course, the student is able to:
- understand the business environment: An introduction to the business environment, including its various components such as economic, political, legal, technological, social, and cultural factors, and how they impact business operations.
- familiarize with the global business environment: Understanding the impact of globalization on business operations, including international trade, multinational corporations, and cultural diversity.
- develop analytical skills: Developing analytical skills to assess the business environment and identify opportunities and threats that affect business operations.
- explore the role of government: Understanding the role of government in shaping the business environment, including government policies, regulations, and incentives.
- emphasize the importance of ethics and corporate social responsibility: Understanding the ethical and social responsibilities of businesses, including environmental sustainability, social justice, and community involvement.
- understand the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation in a dynamic business environment.
- develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Cross-Cultural Issues: The importance of culture in international business, cross-cultural communication, and management in a multicultural environment.
- Political and Legal Environment: The role of politics and law in international business, types of political risk, and legal issues in international business.

- Market Entry Strategies: Different market entry strategies, their advantages, and disadvantages.
- International Strategic Management: The process of formulating and implementing strategies in a global business environment.
