The student is able to:
- implements the legislations, national and ethical guidelines in social and health care service system in Finland into nursing
- promotes patient safety in their nursing
- explains and implements infection prevention and control guidelines and practices in clinical nursing contexts
- Is able to plan, implement and assess nursing care for patients in different nursing contexts
- utilizes clinical examination methods and tools in the assessment of a patient’s condition and applies them in nursing
- can explain the pharmacodynamics of most common medications and fluids used in clinical nursing and implement safe medication administration
- can apply non-pharmacological interventions in nursing
- Is able to plan, implement and assess the resource-oriented mentoring and psychosocial support to the patient and their next of kin
- uses communication and dialogical interaction skills in nursing
- analyses and applies evidence-based practice in nursing
- works in interprofessional co-operation in the clinical contexts
- performs drug calculations accurately
- can prepare CV, infographic and video CV
