Learning objectives
After completing the course, student is able to
- describe the importance of the nursing values and fundamental nursing concepts as the basis of nursing care
- name the basic concepts of nursing science
- assess the client’s daily nursing needs and list nursing activities
- observe and interpret the effects of nursing activities used on the client's health and functional ability
- explain the ABCDE method when examining the patient’s basic vital functions and the ISBAR method when reporting on them
- explain the importance of functional ability and rehabilitative care in welfare promotion
- document nursing according to the nursing process model and national documentation model
- describe the factors influencing patient safety and understand the importance of the HaiPro reporting system
- explain the basics of infection prevention control principles in nursing
- explain the meaning of hygiene and safety in patient catering
- describe the main content of the national nutrition and exercise recommendations from the nursing care point of view
