Learning objectives

After completing the course, the student will: Understand the significance of old jewelry repair and restoration work as part of the circular economy. Plan, evaluate, and implement simple repairs and modifications of old jewelry.

Content

Jewelry repair and restoration process, chain connections, changing the size of rings. Modification and repair work of jewelry for customers.

Qualifications

Requires previous studies in jewelry design. Basic design studies (Design Methods and Technologies: Jewelry 10 ECTS, Jewelry Technology, 10 ECTS.)
