Learning objectives

After completing the course, students will have the ability to

- respect human dignity and act in a way that does not violate human rights and without prejudice against the characteristics and world view of each individual (including age, culture, background, disability, gender, language, religion and sexual orientation)
- specific characteristics related to the oral healthcare of clients with varying disabilities
- specific characteristics related to the oral healthcare of clients with mental disabilities
- specific characteristics related to the oral healthcare of clients with oral cancer
- specific characteristics related to the oral healthcare of clients in mental health rehabilitation
- contribute to the basic care of patients
- take into account the specific characteristics of oral care when applied to tracheostomised, intubated patients
- specific characteristics related to palliative oral care
