Learning objectives
After the studies the student is able to
- explain different diseases associated with oral health
- produce individual treatment plan when the patient is suffering from a general disease
- use evidence-based knowledge in crisis situations
- give resuscitate and use a defibrillator
- give first aid in emergency situations

- general disease affecting oral health such as cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and arthritis, diabetic syndrome and thyroid disease, gastrointestinal disease, renal failure and hepatic disease, eating disorders, bronchial asthma, viral hepatitis, epileptic disorder and Parkinson`s disease, cancer, skin- and anaemic illness
