Teaching methods

Lectures and exercises. Typically during the lectures, the theory is briefly presented, after which the theory is applied through examples and self-study exercises. The lectures and exercises are recorded, and remote access is typically offered for lectures. During the exercises, students are supported and guided closely. The course includes a comprehensive exercise project, which is a major basis for evaluation. At the end of the course, there are no more lectures, and the time is used for guidance on the exercise project.

The assessment consists of weekly assignments and a larger exercise project.

Materials

The teaching material for the course is published on Moodle. The material includes ppt files, videos, exercises, and example solutions.

Naturally, the student also has to rely on materials found online and search for information independently.
