Teaching methods

Agriculture in Global Context course is built upon a combination of:
- join reflections in groups
- joint activities in groups (LEGOs) for the SP and MultiPro groups
- guest lectures run by the persons having extended experience in agriculture globally
- visits (Valio and Ponsse) - obligatory for the SP and MultiPro group, optional for the SM group

Within the course we learn about the global challenges in agriculture, as well as how cultural differences influence the work across agriculture globally. The main point of the course is to find own perspective on the theme of Agriculture in Global Context. To achieve it - we will be learning by reflecting from the course content.

The SP and MultiPro group, will be involved in organising Global Market event.

The final task of the course will be submiting final reflections done in the working group.
