The student is able to:
• observe the child's developmental stage and wellbeing , from the viewpoint of early intervention and support, and preventive child protection work
• observe and document children's growth, development and learning processes
• plan, implement, document and evaluate pedagogical activities for a group of children
• use child-oriented guidance and teaching methods
• participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the pedagogical activities in a multiprofessional team, and also participate in developing the quality of early childhood education work
• guide and support an activity culture that strengthens children's agency, mutual social interaction and a sense of belonging to a community, by utilizing a social-pedagogical work orientation
• implement educational partnership, promoting the participation of guardians
• apply a developmental approach to work in multiprofessional teamwork and in networks as part of the service system
