Learning objectives

The student is able to
- apply early childhood education theoretical approaches and child-oriented work methods
- observe the child's developmental stage, as well as the implementation of early intervention and support, and of preventive child protection work
- guide children's mutual social interaction and cooperative learning+-
- plan, implement, document and evaluate pedagogical activities for a group of children
- participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the pedagogical activities in a multiprofessional team, and in the development of the quality of early childhood education work
- create a participatory culture in the workplace and promote the realization of participation
- analyse the importance of educational cooperation with families and deepen one’s family-oriented work approach
- use an instructive approach in multiprofessional teamwork and in networks as part of the service system

Qualifications

Passing of 140 ECTS credits of studies in the Degree Programme of Social Services before starting the internship.
Successful completion of SSMHAR02 Professional Training (Practical methods).
Passing of at least 5 ECTS credits of advanced studies of the study path Expert in Early Childhood Education before starting the internship.
