Learning objectives
After completing this study unit, students will be able to
- describe the key concepts and areas of expertise in physiotherapy as well as the meaning of having a client-oriented approach in physiotherapy
- see themselves as part of a multidisciplinary working group
- describe the ethical and legal principles governing physiotherapy
- describe the principles of evidence-based actions in physiotherapy
- describe basic movements and the principles of ergonomics
- observe and palpate human bone and soft tissue structures
- use various soft tissue treatment techniques

- Core competences of a physiotherapist and physiotherapy nomenclature
