Osaamistavoitteet

The student becomes familiar with the background and phenomena of contemporary Finnish and international architecture. He or she understands the relation between architectural design and contemporary culture and society. The student also understands the methods used in contemporary architectural design and the trends in architectural thinking. He or she becomes familiar with the materials and structure qualities of contemporary architecture and can apply them correctly in his or her own design. The student understands the overall management of the visual environment in architectural design concerning eg interior and landscape design.
