Learning objectives

The student can design the interior of a small house. The student knows the principles of dimensioning for the furniture and spaces needed in the space. The student knows manufacturers of loose and fixed furniture and becomes familiar with the interior surface materials used in small houses. The student can produce visualization images and 2D drawings with a 3D program.

Content

Basics of apartment design. Entrance, kitchen and dining, rest space, sauna, clothing care, toilet and bathroom spaces. Loose furniture and their space requirement. Drawing markings. Presentation guidelines. Interior surface materials. CAD- 2D and -3D.

Materials

Teaching and lecture materials. RT and SIT card index as applicable, as well as independently produced materials.

Qualifications

Basic studies in Design, Basics of Interior Architecture 10 ECTS (3month-1 year)
