The student knows how to present and talk about a project with customers.
Student get skills in project work, time scheduling, teamworking, innovations and reporting. They will get skills of different IoT technologies and practices during the project. They learn especially professional skills of the embedded, sensor and wireless technologies. Students can use RD tools in product development tasks.

Implementation
Communication studies: In Autumn 2024, three (3) workshops to support the preparation of infographic & presentation for the Trade Fair session. Active participation in the Trade Fair session. Peer- and self-assessment on Communication Skills.
Evaluation
Evaluation of communication part of the course: Pass/Fail
Evaluation is based on the presentation, poster and peer- & self-assessment related to the Trade Fair session and skills needed there.

Supervised laboratory teamwork: 46 hrs
Teamwork: 79 hrs
The above includes: The communication part of the course that consists of
- 6 hrs of contact teaching + 4 hrs active participation in the Trade Fair session
- 17 hrs of preparing the presentation materials for the Trade Fair and real-life communication practice during the RD/IoT1 project work.
Practical training and working life cooperation
Some of the project topics come from companies.
