Teaching methods

This course aims to teach the student the basics of automation technology.

Describes
- Learning method on this course is flipped learning: student studies the theory independently and, once the mini-exam has been passed, comes to class for guided laboratory exercises to form a bridge from theory to practical skill.
- The course can be completed by passing the topic specific test, completing the laboratory exercises and completing the final exam.
- The laboratory exercises are mandatory but are only graded pass/fail. The final course grade is determined in the final theory exam.
- There is one lecture in the beginning of the course, after that the course schedule is for laboratory exercises. The Final exam is in a class at the end of the course.
