After completing this course, the student:

- is able to apply patient monitoring methods and take appropriate actions based on changes in the patient's condition
- is able to use the cABCDE protocol and NEWS scoring to assess the condition of surgical patients and apply the results in decision-making
- is able to apply interprofessional communication in the planning and implementation of surgical patient care
- is able to use and apply checklists to ensure patient safety in surgical processes
- is able to apply patient preparation processes for various procedures, considering individual needs and patient safety
- is able to consider cultural differences and diversity in the care of surgical patients and act in a culturally sensitive manner
