Teaching methods
The intensive part of the Healing Greenery course will take place in Lithuania, at Kauno Kollegija, from May 5 to May 9, 2025. Departure is on Sunday, May 4, and return is on Saturday, May 10, 2025. The course is aimed at students in the fields of natural resources, social and health sciences, as well as landscape planning from Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
The objectives of the studies are to enhance knowledge and application of green care methods, develop teamwork skills and creative thinking, and encourage international and interdisciplinary collaboration and employment.
Before the intensive course, there will be individual and group pre-tasks, as well as an online meeting with all participants. During the intensive course, there will be in-person teaching, interdisciplinary and international collaboration, a development task, and experiential exercises in natural environments. After the intensive course, feedback and evaluation will be conducted.

3 credits correspond to 81 hours of work, which includes:
40 hours of lectures, group work, and green care exercises during the intensive course
11 hours of independent work: familiarization with the topic
10 hours of independent work: review of foundational concepts
10 hours of group work: pre-tasks
10 hours of personal assignments and evaluation
