Learning objectives

The aim of the course is, that the student
- knows how to use simulation pedagogy principles from the point of view of the instructor
- knows how to support students to proceed in the simulation scenario by working in standardized patient´s (SP) role
- can assist students´ to reach positively the simulation learning objectives
- can evaluate SP practices from the point of view of the students learning

Content

- The principles of Simulation pedagogy
- Education about working in SP´s role and rehearsals
- Working in SP role during the study-year

Anatomy, Physiology and Diagnostics Examinations 1 and 2, Nursing Assessment and Interventions, Nursing Assessment and Interventions, Clinical Skills, Basics of Pharmacological Treatment.

- Active participation during the two contact days

Practical training and working life cooperation
