Toteutuksen kuvaus
The student understands the importance of maintenance and development work with human resources both from the company's and personnel's points of view. He or she identifies the different elements of human resources management (HRM) and and human resources development (HRD) is able to understand the practical HR-procedures and how they are linked to the business. The student understands the principles of empowering leadership of the individuals and teams including motivation and interaction at the work place as well as teamwork principles.
The course will be implemented using Flipped Learning, Problem Based Learning and Learning by Doing. This means, that you have some pre-work before lectures and that during lectures we'll learn by operating simultaneously as a imaginary employees/teams in a virtual company called Savonia Stars. This is why you should attend lectures in class and there will be no hybrid implementation.
The course will start in week 4 with the pre-assignment (literature review). You'll find detailed instructions on Moodle starting from 22nd of January. Interactive contact lectures begins in week 7 and continues until week 18.
