Teaching methods
This course will be taught entirely on-campus. The course consists of lectures and excercises in the 3D-printing laboratory. The course will be graded by an exam.
Alternative implementation methods
Primarily the course is carried out in face-to-face teaching, but if necessary, a remote connection can be added to the lectures. Attending the laboratory exercises is also a prerequisite for passing the course.
Student workload
This course consists of six weeks of weekly lectures (2h) and laboratory excercises (2h), totalling 24h. Self-study on the course is evaluated to be ~3h. If the student wants to print their own models during the excercises, the time used for 3D-modelling is not included in this course.
Practical training and working life cooperation

Qualifications
It is recommended to take the basics of 3D printing -course first. In addition, you can get more out of the course if the student has access to and the ability to use some kind of 3D modeling software.
Materials
All required material will be provided on the course.
Further information
This course is a part of Savonia's degree students' optional courses.
