Teaching methods

The implementation of the study module is seminar- and book-circle-like, where the topic is collectively explored by the study group. The specific implementation methods of the study module are agreed upon together with the students. The aim of the study module is to participate in design and research discussions in a suitable manner, for example by participating in R&D cooperation or attending conferences in the field.

Alternative implementation methods

Agree with the teacher, however, ensuring that the student contributes to the rest of the workgroup.

Student workload

Seminars and meetings in person and remotely: 50 hours
Familiarization with literature: 160 hours
Writing or preparation of presentation material: 60 hours

Practical training and working life cooperation

Possible visits and meetings. Students of the study module can seek and arrange beneficial professional contacts during the study module.

Materials

The aim is to seek the latest design research literature and scientific articles as learning materials, as well as video materials.

Further information

Active contribution from the student is expected for the benefit of the study group.
