Teaching methods

The course completion requires:
- participation to theory and tutorial lessons
- independent learning and information searching
- course exam
- completion of given learning assignments

Teaching methods:
The primary teaching language is English. Essential vocabulary and phrases relevant to the course topic are also going to be learned in Finnish.

Assessment methods:
- individual and group assignments
- exam

Alternative implementation methods

RPL (Recognition of prior learning) or Studification.

Student workload

The course is worth 5 credit units, which means a student works approximately 135 hours on the course. The 135 hours consist of
- lessons approx. 28 hours
- independent learning approx. 61 hours
- assignments and exam approx. 46 hours

Materials

The course material will be available in Savonia Moodle -learning environment.

Further information

It is an expectation that a student has access to Microsoft Excel -desktop application in their computer.
