Teaching methods

There are 3 meetings (6 lessons) available to support the start of the student's own thesis process. The sessions are:
1. Kick off/ orientation to thesis process.
2. Academic writing practices - a revision
3. Information retrieval and databases for thesis writers.

To earn the credits, the student partipates the lessons actively, acquiring the information concerning the key things related to the thesis process. The student chooses a topic that is relevant for the development of both the field of study and his/her own expertise, motivates his/her topic choice from various viewpoints, creates a thesis topic description and completes it into a thesis plan (=work plan). The student works flexibly with other people and parties involved in the thesis process and presents his /her knowledge and skills during the 1st phase of the thesis.
