Teaching methods

Objectives: The student
- analyses and compares the unique situations of people living in different cultures and can observe the needs of social interventions,
- realizes the meaning of social and regional structures in life situations of families,
- learns to understand the mechanisms of becoming a client at individual, communal, local, regional, and social levels in different cultures,
- recognizes his/her strengths and challenges for developing professional skills in responsible work with clients in multicultural work situations,
- understands the significance of systematic and target oriented work.

Student workload

The internship is 10 credits, which corresponds to 270 hours of work.

Practical training and working life cooperation

Supervised placement in some of the customer related places of social services.
