- can, under supervision, administer medication and fluids by using different routes of administration
- understands the nurse’s role in safe administration of medication
- deepens his or her expertise in patient education concerning medication
- can document medical treatment
Content
Medical treatment of the most common diseases (cardiovascular diseases, respiratory and digestive system diseases, mental disorders and insomnia, cancer, neurological diseases, diabetes, thyroid diseases, eye, ear and skin diseases). Microbial and allergy medicines, analgesics and antipyretics. Electrolyte balance, fluid balance and acid-base balance and their disorders. Parenteral nutrition. Subcutaneous cannula, insulin and PCA pumps, Central venous cathether.
