Teaching methods

Both oral and written skills are evaluated during the course. Contact lessons will strongly focus on oral communication.
In order to pass the course, you need to complete different assignments and take an exam.
You will find details about all the tasks in your Moodle course, as well as the detailed evaluation criteria, and they will also be explained during contact lessons.

Alternative implementation methods

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Have you acquired knowledge and competences that correspond to the learning outcomes and the level of your course before starting your studies? Recognition of prior learning (RPL) means recognizing and accrediting these competences.
Always check the information on the topic available on Savonia webpages, and discuss with your study counselor first. After that, contact the course teacher to agree on ways of documenting and demonstrating your skills.
Apply for RPL within the first month of your studies, so that if your application is not accepted, you can still participate in the course the same semester, and don't need to wait for the next year.
